How to host
an IRCA conference
|
|---|
|
Hosting an IRCA conference can be a forum in which issues that affect all Rural communities and issues which are particular to your own sphere of ministry can be discussed, highlighted and shared. In hosting a conference, your group enters into a partnership with IRCA and together we bring to fruition a forum for sharing and encouragement. The easiest way in which to see how this happens and what is required is to view the documents and timelines associated with previous conferences. The example of Korea (which did not proceed) is offered as an excellent example of what might be required. |

Despite not going ahead, this submission from Korea gives a good example of what might be required by IRCA. Also attached is a copy of the IRCA - Korea Memorandum of Understanding which gives an idea of responsibilities and relationships during the conference. |

The IRCA conference held in Brandon in July 2007 brought together key speakers and folk from around the world. The field trips and fellowship added to the atmosphere of co-operation and encouragement. Attached is also a copy of the financials for the conference as a guide to what might be expected financially to host an IRCA conference. |
