Dr Rudi Buntzel, who works with sustainable agriculture farmers in Germany, has been involved in many causes related to food production and sustainability.

He, along with otheres produced the Mulhein Declaration in 1993 which brought together a group of sustainable agriculture and rural development non-government organisations after the United Nation's earth summit in Rio to develop strategies for the implementation of Agenda 21 which is related to sustainable deveopment into the 21st century.
